Lithuania congratulates Kuwait on the occasion of National & Liberation days
On behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of Lithuania, I extend my warmest congratulations to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal al-Ahmad al-Sabah and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of Kuwait‘s Independence and 33rd commemoration of the Liberation Day.
This year, Lithuania and Kuwait celebrate 30 years of diplomatic relations — 30 years of remarkable bond of friendship, mutual respect and cooperation. Kuwait has always been an example of prosperity and tolerance in the region. Our countries share respect for international values and principles, thus strengthening our ties and opening opportunities for trade, culture and people-to-people connections. May the next 30 years bring even more robust partnerships and cooperation.
