KPC awards 6.39m dinars contract for oil spill response vessels
Al Boom Marine wins key tender
The Supreme Purchasing Committee of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries has awarded a tender for the design and construction of two oil spill response vessels to Al Boom Marine Company, with a total value of 6.39 million dinars.
The lowest bid submitted for the project was excluded due to failure to meet technical and financial requirements, reports Al-Rai daily.
In a separate decision, the committee approved awarding a contract to One Ocean Group Limited for the supply of nautical charts, maritime notices, and marine publications, for £3.65 million (approximately 1.51 million dinars).
