Firefighters rescue man after suspected suicide attempt from Sheikh Jaber Bridge
Fire and rescue teams from the Al-Joun Marine and Al-Shuwaikh Marine centers responded to an emergency call involving a suspected suicide attempt at Sheikh Jaber Bridge, when an unidentified person reportedly jumped from the bridge.
According to the Kuwait Fire Force, search and rescue units were immediately deployed to the scene following the alert, carrying out intensive operations in the surrounding waters to locate the person.
Authorities confirmed that the man was rescued after coordinated efforts between the marine units, reports Al-Rai daily.
The person was subsequently handed over to the relevant authorities, who have begun taking the necessary legal and procedural measures in connection with the incident.
