The fifth edition of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026 opens today in Antalya, bringing together global leaders and policymakers at a time of heightened geopolitical uncertainty and shifting power dynamics.

Held under the patronage of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, the three-day summit (April 17–19) positions itself as a key platform for dialogue amid growing fragmentation in international relations.

This year’s theme, “Mapping Tomorrow, Managing Uncertainties,” reflects mounting global concerns, from unresolved conflicts and intensifying strategic rivalries to rising trade barriers and pressure on multilateral institutions.

The forum aims to move beyond diagnosis toward actionable strategies, focusing on anticipating risks, identifying opportunities, and shaping resilient policy responses in an increasingly unpredictable environment.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2026 is drawing a wide array of high-level participants, reflecting its growing stature as a global platform for dialogue.

Heads of state and government, foreign ministers, senior diplomats, and leaders of international organizations are attending alongside academics, business executives, and representatives of civil society.

This broad-based participation highlights the forum’s multi-stakeholder approach, bringing together political, economic, and social perspectives under one roof.

Against this backdrop, discussions at the forum are expected to focus on some of the most pressing global and regional challenges.

Key issues on the agenda include ongoing conflicts and crisis management efforts, rising economic fragmentation and trade disruptions, as well as concerns over energy security and the resilience of global supply chains.

Participants will also examine the future of multilateralism and global governance, in addition to evolving regional dynamics across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

Through panel discussions and bilateral meetings, delegates aim to identify practical pathways to rebuild trust and strengthen international cooperation.

The significance of the forum is underscored by the current global environment, marked by persistent geopolitical tensions, deepening polarization among major powers, and increasing uncertainty in both economic and security spheres.

In this context, ADF2026 seeks to reinforce the importance of dialogue as a critical tool for conflict mitigation and policy coordination, while promoting a more inclusive and effective international system.

Beyond its formal sessions, the forum also serves as a venue for informal diplomacy and bilateral engagement, often crucial in easing tensions and building consensus.

As global challenges become more interconnected, the Antalya gathering continues to position itself as an important platform for restoring trust, encouraging cooperation, and shaping forward-looking solutions in an increasingly uncertain world.
