KPC says no injuries reported in strikes on Mina Al-Ahmadi, Mina Abdullah refineries

Fires quickly contained; professional response thwarts damage

The Kuwait Petroleum Corporation confirmed that two drone attacks targeted the Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah facilities today morning (Thursday) and that the incidents were successfully contained, with no human injuries reported.

In an official statement, KPC expressed gratitude, saying, “Thanks to God and the dedicated efforts of our emergency teams, the fires that broke out in some operational units at the Mina Al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah refineries have been fully extinguished.”

The statement emphasized that the incidents were handled professionally and in strict accordance with the highest safety standards, ensuring the protection of personnel and minimizing operational disruptions, reports Al-Rai daily.

Authorities reassured the public and stakeholders that all necessary precautions and emergency protocols functioned as intended, highlighting the resilience and preparedness of Kuwait’s critical energy infrastructure.
