Kuwaiti Air Defenses Intercept Drones and Ballistic Missiles, No Damage Reported

Kuwaiti air defense systems intercepted a number of hostile drones that breached the country’s northern airspace at dawn, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Brig. Gen. Saud Al-Otaibi, said in a statement issued at around 5:00 a.m.
Earlier, at around 1:00 a.m., Kuwaiti air defenses also intercepted a number of ballistic missiles that penetrated the country’s airspace heading toward the southern region, according to an official statement.
Authorities confirmed that the incoming threats were successfully intercepted and no damages were reported. Officials added that the armed forces remain fully prepared to protect the country’s security and stability.
