MOI issues set of guidelines to help residents secure home surveillance cameras

The Ministry of Interior has issued a set of important guidelines to help residents secure home surveillance cameras and protect them from potential hacking or unauthorized access.
The ministry urged the public to follow several key measures to enhance the security of their monitoring systems, reports Al-Rai daily.
Among the most important steps is regularly changing the default password and ensuring that it includes a combination of numbers, letters, and special symbols to strengthen protection.
Residents are also advised to connect surveillance cameras only to reliable and secure home internet networks to prevent unauthorized access.
