Fuel storage tanks at the Port of Salalah were struck by drones, according to a security source cited by the state-run Oman News Agency.

Meanwhile, other key Omani ports, including the Port of Duqm, continue to operate normally.

The incident adds to growing security concerns affecting shipping and energy infrastructure across the Gulf region amid escalating tensions.

Meanwhile, a security source said several drones were intercepted and shot down, while others managed to strike fuel storage tanks at the Port of Salalah.

Authorities confirmed that no human casualties were reported in the attack. Relevant agencies are continuing efforts to monitor the situation and counter the attacks, describing the incidents as serious and unacceptable threats to national security.

Officials added that security forces remain on high alert as investigations and defensive measures continue to protect key infrastructure and maintain stability across the country.
