Kuwait Armed Forces Intercept Hostile Drones After Airspace Breach

The Kuwait Armed Forces announced that they confronted a wave of hostile aerial targets that breached the country’s airspace from early Tuesday morning until midnight.
In a statement, the General Staff said that air defense systems detected five hostile drones during the period. Four of the drones were successfully intercepted and destroyed, while one fell outside the designated threat zone.
The statement added that the explosions heard in some areas across the country were the result of interception operations carried out by air defense systems targeting the hostile aerial threats.
The General Staff urged the public to strictly follow security and safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities, emphasizing the importance of cooperation during such circumstances.
It also affirmed that the Kuwaiti Armed Forces remain on high alert and fully prepared to deal with any potential threats, stressing their commitment to confronting any attempts to undermine the country’s security and stability, while safeguarding Kuwait’s sovereignty and protecting its national interests and capabilities.
