Sirens are not meant to frighten people

Assistant Director of the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Marshoud, confirmed that “the reports received were limited, and they were dealt with very quickly and smoothly through follow-up in the operations room,” expressing his thanks to the citizens for their interaction in these exceptional circumstances.

He stressed that “the siren is not meant to frighten people, but rather to warn them of safety measures and to take safe locations, whether a person is at home or on the road,” emphasizing “the importance of receiving news from official sources.”

He praised the Ministry of Information and Kuwait State Television for their commitment to providing information around the clock.
