Ministry of Interior issues precautionary measures amid current regional developments

The Ministry of Interior announced a set of temporary precautionary measures in light of the current circumstances affecting the country and the wider region, emphasizing that the steps are aimed at ensuring public safety.

In an official statement, the ministry declared a temporary ban on fishing trips and recreational boats heading to sea until further notice, describing the move as a preventive measure to protect lives and avoid potential risks.

The ministry also urged visitors of desert camps to postpone their outings during this period until conditions stabilize, in order to safeguard their safety and that of their families.

Additionally, the ministry called on the public to refrain from organizing or holding gatherings and outdoor activities outside homes, including Gargeean (Qarqeean) celebrations.

The Ministry of Interior stressed that these measures are temporary and precautionary, noting that relevant authorities are closely monitoring developments. It urged everyone to comply with official instructions and rely only on verified government sources for updates.
