
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the postponement of Class X and Class XII board examinations scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026, across CBSE-affiliated schools in the Middle East region.
According to an official CBSE circular issued on March 1, 2026, the decision applies to schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
The postponement comes in view of the current situation affecting parts of the region.
The board stated that revised examination dates will be announced at a later time. Students have been advised to remain in contact with their respective schools and closely follow official updates and announcements.
CBSE further noted that it will review the situation on March 3, 2026, and take appropriate decisions regarding examinations scheduled from March 5 onwards.
The board emphasized the importance of relying only on official communications for accurate information and updates concerning the examination schedule.
