Iranian state television announced on Sunday (today) the deaths of Aziz Nasirzadeh, the Iranian Defense Minister, and Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, in the US-Israeli attack on Iran.
The report confirmed that both senior military officials were killed in the strike, further escalating tensions in the region following the operation that also targeted Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, reports Al-Rai daily.
The developments mark a significant escalation in hostilities between Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv, raising concerns over potential wider conflict in the Middle East.
