GTD campaign targets workshops, garages

The General Traffic Department, in collaboration with the Kuwait Municipality, recently conducted a comprehensive traffic and inspection campaign targeting workshops, garages, and craftsmen in the Al-Rai area of the Capital Governorate.

As a result of the operation, authorities issued a total of 90 traffic violations for various offenses. Additionally, two vehicles were impounded for violating height conditions, paint damage, and for having expired insurance and licenses, reports Al-Anba daily.

In tandem with the traffic violations, the Kuwait Municipality filed 18 violations related to abandoned vehicles. This joint effort underscores the commitment of authorities to ensure road safety and enforce regulations pertaining to vehicle maintenance and adherence to traffic laws.

Such campaigns serve to enhance public safety and ensure compliance with regulatory standards within the community.
