Sheikh Fahd inspects Gulf Road security operations to ensure safe national day celebrations

High alert, civilized policing, Interior Minister oversees security deployment for national festivities

The Ministry of Interior announced that First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef conducted an inspection visit on Wednesday to the main security checkpoint on Arabian Gulf Road as part of ongoing monitoring of security and traffic plans implemented during the National Day celebrations.

Upon arrival, Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef was received by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, Major General Abdul Wahab Ahmed Al-Wahib, and the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, Major General Hamed Al-Dawwas, along with several senior security officials, reports, Al-Rai daily.

During the visit, the minister was briefed on the operations of the field command room at the checkpoint, where officials presented the mechanism used to monitor the security situation through advanced surveillance cameras and monitoring systems.

He also reviewed the organizational plans adopted to secure celebration venues and the coordination procedures between various security sectors aimed at ensuring rapid response and high field readiness.
Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef later conducted an on-site tour inspecting several security locations, where he reviewed the deployment of security personnel and traffic organization measures.

He stressed the importance of maintaining heightened security vigilance and adopting a professional and respectful approach in dealing with the public to ensure safety and security throughout the national celebrations.
