MOI praises public cooperation during National Day events as roads remain clear
Orderly celebrations reflect Kuwait’s civilized spirit as security plan ensures smooth national holidays; strong security presence and public discipline mark safe and successful national holiday celebrations

Brigadier Abdullah Al-Ateeqi, head of the Traffic and Central Operations Sector at the Ministry of Interior, affirmed that First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef was keen to maintain a field presence at security checkpoints and celebration sites during the national holidays.
In a special statement, Al-Ateeqi explained that, as part of a pre-prepared security plan, ministry teams supervised the air show and accompanying exhibition held at the Kuwait Towers, which attracted large crowds of citizens and residents celebrating the occasion.

He praised the public’s strong commitment to the ministry’s previously announced instructions and awareness campaigns, noting the high level of cooperation with security personnel and the orderly, civilized manner in which celebrations were conducted. He added that traffic flow remained smooth and roads stayed clear throughout the events.
Al-Ateeqi also highlighted the field tours carried out by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Wahab Al-Wahib and Undersecretary of the Public Security Sector Major General Hamed Al-Dawwas, who inspected several key locations, including Arabian Gulf Street and other major celebration areas.

During the festivities, the Ministry of Interior provided assistance in 75 humanitarian cases and responded to 90 reports of different types.
He concluded by emphasizing that the celebrations reflected Kuwait’s civilized image, expressing appreciation to citizens and residents for their patience, cooperation, and adherence to security guidelines.
