Pakistan Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, and on my own behalf, I extend my warmest congratulations and heartfelt felicitations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Government, and the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait on the proud occasion of the 65th National Day and the 35th Liberation Day of Kuwait.
These two historic anniversaries embody the courage, dignity, and resilience of the Kuwaiti nation. Kuwait’s journey – from the affirmation of its sovereignty to its liberation and remarkable transformation into a modern, dynamic state – stands as a powerful testament to visionary leadership and national unity.
Under the wise guidance of His Highness the Amir, Kuwait continues to consolidate its position as a model of stability, generosity, and balanced progress in the region. The foresight of its leadership and the industrious spirit of its people remain the true foundation of its enduring success.
Pakistan deeply values its fraternal ties with Kuwait, which are anchored in shared faith, mutual trust, and longstanding goodwill. The Pakistani community in Kuwait, through its professionalism, integrity, and hard work, has contributed meaningfully to Kuwait’s development across diverse sectors, while serving as a vibrant bridge between our two countries. At the same time, Pakistan views Kuwait as a valued economic partner. We welcome enhanced collaboration in investment, trade, energy, infrastructure, food security, and emerging sectors aligned with Kuwait’s development vision. There exists significant untapped potential, and Pakistan remains committed to creating greater opportunities for mutually beneficial economic engagement.
I am confident that Pakistan – Kuwait relations will continue to grow stronger and more dynamic in the years ahead. On this proud and joyous occasion, I pray to Almighty to bless His Highness the Amir with continued good health and long life, and to grant the brotherly people of the State of Kuwait enduring peace, sustained progress, and ever-growing prosperity.
Dr. Zafar Iqbal
Ambassador of Pakistan to the State of Kuwait
