Ukraine Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days
On the occasion of the National Day and Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the friendly people of Kuwait. These historic days symbolize the unity, resilience, and unwavering spirit of the Kuwaiti nation.
They stand as a tribute to Kuwait’s proud history, remarkable achievements, and steadfast commitment to global peace and stability. The people of Ukraine remember with deep respect Kuwait’s courage and determination during the difficult days of aggression and occupation.
Ukraine was proud to stand in solidarity with Kuwait by contributing a Ukrainian Battalion of radiological, chemical and biological defense to the international efforts following liberation—a reflection of our principled commitment to international law and collective security.
On this solemn occasion, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has conveyed his official congratulations to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait and His Highness the Crown Prince. In addition, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Ms. Yuliia Svyrydenko has sent a congratulatory telegram to the Prime-Minister of the State of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.
As Ukraine continues to defend its sovereignty and independence, we deeply value the friendship and constructive partnership between our two friendly nations. I wish the State of Kuwait continued progress and prosperity, and its people enduring peace, stability, and well-being.
