EU Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the European Union Delegation in Kuwait, I am delighted to extend my warmest greetings to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Sabah, the Government of Kuwait and the Kuwaiti people on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan , Kuwait’s 65th National Day and the 35th anniversary of its Liberation.

The relationship between Kuwait and the EU is a special one. The bond between us has grown and evolved, as we mark this year the 40th anniversary of EU-Kuwait diplomatic relations. Over these four decades, we have built a strong foundation of trust, cooperation, shared values and enduring friendship.

I am confident that this relationship will prosper for many years to come. The EU and Kuwait continue to work closely on regional peace and security, innovation, and efforts to address global challenges, reflecting a partnership built on dialogue, and mutual respect. I look forward to elevating our relationship even further through a Strategic Partnership Agreement, which we hope to start negotiating soon.
