Ethiopian Airlines inaugurates its new office in Kuwait
Ethiopian Airlines, the largest and leading aviation group in Africa, proudly announced the inauguration of its new office in Kuwait on February 12, 2026.
The launch of the modern facility marks a significant milestone in the airline’s 80-year journey and signals a new era of enhanced customer service and competition in the local market.
The inaugural ceremony was a distinguished affair, graced by the presence of His Excellency Dr. Sied Muhumed Jibril, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the State of Kuwait, alongside several other esteemed African ambassadors and diplomats.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony symbolized the official opening of the office, which is designed to provide all Ethiopian Airlines’ services in a high-quality environment that reflects the carrier’s global brand and commitment to excellence.
In his address, H.E. Dr. Sied Jibril highlighted the impressive and rapid growth of Ethiopian Airlines, as well as its ambitious mega-projects, including the development of a new airport in the Bishoftu area, which is poised to become the largest in Africa.
Fellow African ambassadors and diplomats in attendance echoed these sentiments, praising Ethiopian Airlines as a pioneer in the African aviation industry and a source of immense pride for the continent.
Mustefa Darsemo, Area Manager of Ethiopian Airlines in Kuwait, extended his heartfelt gratitude to the honored guests for their presence at this landmark event.
