Kuwait banks announce Ramadan working hours
Adjusted timings set for bank customers across Kuwait; banking hours revised as banks introduce split shifts in malls

The Secretary-General of the Kuwait Banking Association, Sheikha Al-Essa, announced the official working hours for local bank branches during the holy month of Ramadan, in accordance with a circular issued by the Central Bank of Kuwait.
She explained that customer service hours at banks’ main headquarters and single-shift branches located in residential and commercial areas will run from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm throughout Ramadan, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Branches operating inside shopping malls will receive customers in two shifts (excluding Fridays). The first shift will be from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm, while the second shift will run from 8:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.
She noted that working hours may vary slightly from one bank to another, depending on each institution’s operational arrangements, while considering iftar and fasting times as well as official mall operating hours.
Airport branches, meanwhile, will continue to operate around the clock, with schedules determined individually by each bank in line with Ramadan requirements and customer needs.
On this occasion, the association extended its warmest congratulations and blessings to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, and His Highness the Prime Minister, Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah, as well as to the people of Kuwait and bank customers across the country.
The association prayed for continued security and prosperity for the nation and that the holy month returns with goodness, blessings, and wellbeing for all.
