Cassation Court finds traffic colonel, eight expatriates guilty in driving license fraud case

The Court of Cassation has upheld the verdicts of the Criminal Court and the Court of Appeal, and sentenced a colonel working in the Jahra Traffic Department to four years of imprisonment with hard labor after finding him guilty of forgery.

The top court also confirmed four year prison terms with hard labor and deportation for eight expatriates who were found guilty of paying bribe to get driving licenses to nationals of other countries, reports Al-Rai daily.
