Omar Al-Omar receives Bahraini Information Minister upon arrival in Kuwait
Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology and Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Omar Al-Omar, received Bahraini Minister of Information, Dr. Ramzan Al-Nuaimi, on Tuesday upon his arrival in Kuwait to participate in the meeting of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, which Kuwait will host on Wednesday.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Minister Al-Omar emphasized the depth and strength of the fraternal relations between Kuwait and Bahrain, highlighting ongoing cooperation in various fields, particularly media and culture, which reflects the historical ties between the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
He pointed to the importance of developing mechanisms for joint Arab media work and enhancing coordination among Arab media institutions to serve Arab causes, keep pace with the rapid changes in the media sector, and contribute to delivering the media message professionally and responsibly.
Minister Al-Omar also noted Kuwait’s keenness to support all efforts that strengthen joint Arab media cooperation and intensify coordination among Arab ministries of information.
He stressed the importance of unifying efforts to confront current challenges and present a balanced Arab media discourse that reflects shared values, preserves Arab identity, and keeps pace with regional and global developments.
