The Dubai Press Club has announced the organization of an official visit by an Emirati media delegation to Kuwait on Sunday, in a move aimed at strengthening media cooperation and exchanging professional expertise between institutions in the two brotherly nations.

In a press statement issued to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Dubai Government Media Office said the initiative reflects the directives of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to celebrate the deep-rooted fraternal ties between the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait under the slogan “Brothers Forever.”

The visit is being held under the patronage of UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The delegation comprises more than 100 leading figures from the UAE’s media sector, including senior media executives, artists, producers, and heads of media and press institutions. Newspaper editors are also part of the delegation, alongside writers, journalists, content creators and social media influencers.

According to the statement, the visit’s agenda features the Emirati-Kuwaiti Media Festival, in addition to a series of professional events and meetings designed to deepen collaboration.

The program also includes field visits to prominent Kuwaiti media organizations, as well as panel discussions focusing on best practices in media and exploring future opportunities for joint media initiatives.

The visit is expected to further consolidate professional ties and open new avenues for cooperation, reinforcing the longstanding and close relationship between the UAE and Kuwait across media and cultural fields.
