My heart beats for India

Republic Day is one of the most special and important days for every Indian. We celebrate it on 26th January because on this day in 1950, our constitution came into action. It reminds us that India is a free country and every citizen has rights and responsibilities.

Even though I live in Kuwait, I feel very connected to India, especially on this day. Seeing the national flag and hearing the national anthems fills me with pride and happiness. I think about the freedom fighters who worked hard and sacrificed their lives for our country and for us to live in freedom, and it just makes me feel lucky to be an Indian.

One of my favorite subjects in school is civics, and especially history. I love learning about our country’s Constitution, the history of freedom, and the struggles of the past. Reading about India’s journey from being under British and many European foreign rules to becoming a strong, independent nation always leaves me emotional, inspired, and gives me goosebumps — not only me but readers around the world. Learning about our heroes and the values they stood for has taught me the importance of honesty, respect, and responsibility.

Republic Day is not just about parades and celebrations. It reminds us of the values that every citizen should follow. By being kind, responsible, and respectful, and by spreading love to each other, we can help make our country stronger.

I always feel proud when I see how much India has developed and progressed in education, science, technology, and space missions, like the successful Chandrayaan mission, which shows India reaching new heights and becoming an inspiring country around the world.

As of late 2025, India is also the most populated country in the world, with more than 1.46 billion people. Despite this, we continue to grow and achieve amazing things, which makes every Indian proud to be an Indian.

Republic Day reminds me that every Indian, no matter how old they are, no matter their religion or caste, has a part to play in making India even better.

By being disciplined, responsible, respectful, and treating everyone with equal rights, we can all contribute to our country’s progress and development. I always feel that India is a country where every religion unites and is respected with love.

On this Republic Day, I promise from the bottom of my heart to always honor and respect my country and do my best in everything I do.

India is not just my homeland; it is my pride, my identity, and my heart. I will always stand for and achieve for my country, no matter if it’s a failure or a success. I will always stand together with India, forever. ‘My Heart Will Always Beat For India!’

JAI HIND! ♥
