Exhibition opens new horizons for hospitality growth and investment

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, said that the 14th edition of the HORECA Kuwait 2026 exhibition represents a specialized platform that supports development and excellence in the hospitality sector, while opening broader prospects for attracting global investments amid wide participation by local and international experts and specialists in hospitality and tourism.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition on Monday, held under the patronage of the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Dr. Muhaisen noted that the organization of such exhibitions and high-quality events aligns with the state’s strategic direction toward promoting tourism and commercial openness.

He added that these efforts contribute to strengthening Kuwait’s position as an attractive destination for tourism and investment, in line with the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035.

Dr. Muhaisen pointed out that the Ministry of Information’s strategic framework has recently witnessed the implementation of several initiatives and practical steps, most notably the launch of the “Visit Kuwait” digital platform to promote tourism.
He also highlighted ongoing efforts to prepare a draft law to regulate the tourism sector, in cooperation with the private sector and the Federation of Hotel Owners.
