Municipality evacuates Enjaz Market after deadline expires

Regulatory teams from the Kuwait Municipality, in coordination with personnel from the Ministry of Interior, carried out the full evacuation of Enjaz Market today, following the expiry of the official warning period issued to shop owners.

The Municipality said the move was implemented in accordance with Decision No. 2026/57 issued by Director General Engineer Manal Al-Asfour, which mandated the clearance of the market after investors and tenants failed to comply within the given timeframe.

Municipal officials confirmed that prior notices had been served to all concerned parties, granting them sufficient time to rectify their status or vacate the premises. With no compliance recorded, authorities proceeded with the complete evacuation to enforce regulations and maintain order, reports Al-Rai daily.

The operation was carried out smoothly with the support of Ministry of Interior personnel, ensuring security and the proper execution of the decision.
