PAM introduces multiple-trip exit permit; one approval, several trips
The Public Authority for Manpower has introduced a new “Multiple-Trip Departure Permit” service, designed to make life easier for employers and employees by reducing paperwork and saving time.
Previously, departure permits had to be issued for each individual trip. Now, the upgraded service allows a single permit to cover multiple trips within a specified period, meaning fewer repeated procedures, reports Al-Rai daily.
The new system is fully digital and linked with the Ministry of Interior, so once a permit is approved, the information is automatically sent to the relevant authorities. Employers and employees can also print the permit form anytime.
How to Apply
- Go to the “As’hal” portal for companies and workforce, or use the “Sahel Business/Individuals” app.
- Select the type of permit: single trip or multiple-trip departure permit.
- Enter the start and end dates for the permit.
- Submit the request. You will immediately see your transaction number and status.
The service is part of Kuwait’s ongoing digital transformation of government services, aiming to simplify procedures, improve efficiency, and reduce effort for both employers and employees.
