PACI introduces ‘Residence Notification’ service via Sahel App

The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has introduced a new digital service titled “Residence Notification” through the unified government application “Sahel”, to enhance oversight and monitor rental contracts across Kuwait.
The authority said the service enables property owners to receive instant notifications whenever a new lease contract is registered in relation to their property.
This allows owners to verify the legitimacy of tenancy records and take immediate action if the registration is inaccurate or unauthorized, reports Al-Rai daily.
PACI explained that in cases where the registered contract is not approved, property owners can cancel the residency directly through the “Cancel Residents” service on the Sahel application. Alternatively, they may visit the authority in person to complete the necessary procedures.
The launch of the Residence Notification service forms part of PACI’s broader efforts to digitize services, enhance data accuracy and strengthen coordination between government entities. It is also designed to protect property owners’ rights, prevent misuse of addresses and ensure that residency information remains up to date and reliable.
Officials noted that the new service supports the government’s drive toward integrated digital platforms, improving efficiency, transparency and user experience for citizens and residents alike.
