Senegalese President arrives in Kuwait on official visit

President Bachir Djouma Faye of the Republic of Senegal arrived in Kuwait on Sunday evening at the head of an official delegation for an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

His Excellency was received at Kuwait International Airport by His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah, Prime Minister.

Also present to welcome the Senegalese President were Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs; Sheikh Thamer Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Head of the Crown Prince’s Diwan; Sheikh Dr. Basil Hamoud Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Advisor at the Prime Minister’s Diwan and Head of the accompanying honorary delegation; and Ambassador Nayef Mohammed Al-Mudhaf, Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs.
President Faye is accompanied by an official delegation that includes Ahmadou Aminou Lo, Minister in charge of monitoring, guiding and evaluating the National Transformation Agenda “Senegal 2050”; Cheikh Niang, Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad; Cheikh Diba, Minister of Finance and Budget; Cheikh Tidiane Dié, Minister of Water and Sanitation; along with a number of senior Senegalese officials.
The visit reflects the keenness of both countries to enhance cooperation and expand partnerships across various sectors of mutual interest.
