Army Chief of Staff praises readiness and professionalism of Amiri Guard

The Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Shuraia’an, visited the Amiri Guard on Thursday. He was received by the Commander of the Amiri Guard, Major General Bader Al-Sahlool, and a number of senior officers.
In a press statement, the General Staff Command said that Lieutenant General Al-Shuraia’an was briefed on the duties and responsibilities of the Amiri Guard, as well as the training programs and development plans aimed at enhancing the efficiency and readiness of its personnel.

During the visit, the Chief of Staff observed a field demonstration in which members of the Amiri Guard showcased their operational skills and level of coordination in carrying out assigned tasks, reflecting a high degree of professionalism and discipline. The visit also included a presentation of the vehicles and weapons used by the Amiri Guard.
Lieutenant General Al-Shuraia’an praised the advanced level of performance and discipline demonstrated by the personnel, noting that it reflects the significant efforts exerted in preparing and qualifying members of the Amiri Guard.

He stressed that the sensitive nature of the tasks entrusted to the Amiri Guard requires the highest levels of efficiency, readiness, continuous training, and mental and physical preparedness to carry out their duties with precision and professionalism.
The Chief of Staff also underscored the importance of continuing to develop training programs in line with the latest military methods and of strengthening integration and coordination among the various army units.
He said unified efforts and close cooperation between units are essential to raising overall performance levels and enhancing the armed forces’ ability to execute missions with high efficiency and competence.
