Kuwait’s non-oil exports reach 2.68 billion dinars in first 10 months of 2025
Certificates of Origin dip slightly as non-oil exports show strong volatility

The International Relations Department at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has issued 20,326 certificates of origin for Kuwaiti products during the first ten months of 2025, marking a 1.76 percent decline compared with 20,692 certificates issued in the same period last year.
Despite the marginal decrease, the total value of non-oil Kuwaiti exports reached 2.683 billion dinars, according to official data, reports Al-Rai daily.
Ministry figures show notable monthly fluctuations in export values throughout the period. Exports stood at approximately 318.9 million dinars in January, before falling to 184.17 million dinars in February.
They rebounded sharply in March to 416.48 million dinars, then declined again in April to 224.46 million dinars. Exports rose in May to 271.92 million dinars, before slipping in June to 175.33 million dinars.
July recorded the highest export value of the year, reaching 442.08 million dinars, while August marked the lowest level at 171.94 million dinars. Exports recovered in September to 262.95 million dinars, before easing to 215.32 million dinars in October.
The ministry attributed these sharp month-to-month variations to seasonal factors, shifting demand in foreign markets, and ongoing global economic pressures, including volatility in shipping and energy costs and slower growth in several importing economies.
In terms of export destinations, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries topped the list, absorbing 1.456 billion dinars, or 54.65 percent of Kuwait’s non-oil exports during the period. European markets ranked second with exports valued at 699.8 million dinars, representing 26.1 percent of the total.
Arab countries came third with 462.95 million dinars (17.3 percent), followed by Asian and Australian markets at 34.6 million dinars (1.3 percent). African countries received exports worth 15.65 million dinars (0.58 percent), while the Americas recorded the lowest share, with exports totaling 1.8 million dinars, or 0.07 percent of the overall value.
