Criminal Court sentences Indian to death for murdering his wife

The Criminal Court, headed by Judge Nayef Al-Dahoum, has sentenced an Indian mab to death after finding him guilty of murdering his wife in the suburb of Al-Salmi.
According to the case files, the crime stemmed from ongoing disputes between the couple over financial matters. The victim had repeatedly asked her husband to contribute to household expenses and to share the cost of foodstuffs — demands that allegedly angered him, reports Al-Rai daily.
Investigations revealed that the accused lured his wife to the Al-Salmi desert, where he fatally struck her multiple times on the head with a hammer.
The court issued its ruling after reviewing the evidence presented by the prosecution, which confirmed the deliberate and premeditated nature of the attack.
