Prepared by retired Major General Salem Al-Ajmi and Brigadier General Al-Adwani, the publication serves as an authoritative legal reference, aimed at unifying legal interpretations

The First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Youssef Al-Sabah, received on Wednesday the fourth edition of the book “Legal Regulation of Traffic in the State of Kuwait”, a comprehensive bilingual reference issued in Arabic and English. The updated publication includes the full text of Traffic Law No. (67) of 1976, along with its executive regulations and ministerial decisions, reflecting the latest amendments for the year 2025.

The book was presented to Sheikh Fahd Al-Youssef by Brigadier General Khaled Al-Adwani, Assistant Director General for Education and Coordination Affairs at the General Traffic Department, in recognition of his continued support for modernizing the traffic system and strengthening its legal and regulatory frameworks, reports Al-Rai daily.

Prepared by retired Major General Salem Al-Ajmi and Brigadier General Al-Adwani, the publication serves as an authoritative legal reference, aimed at unifying legal interpretations among Ministry personnel and enhancing operational efficiency within both administrative and field traffic sectors.

Sheikh Fahd Al-Youssef expressed his appreciation to those who contributed to preparing the updated edition, commending their efforts to develop a comprehensive and accessible legal reference that supports the Ministry’s vision for advancing Kuwait’s traffic operations.

He emphasized that updating such key legislation underscores the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to ensuring road safety, protecting lives and property, and aligning traffic systems with modern standards and practices.
