MC postpones decision on hotel building regulation amendments for further review

The Technical Committee of the Municipal Council has decided to keep on its agenda the final draft of the proposed amendment to Schedule No. 12, which outlines the requirements and specifications for hotel buildings across various regions in Kuwait.

During its meeting held yesterday and chaired by Munira Al-Amir, the committee reviewed and discussed several agenda items, including a letter submitted by the Kuwait Federation of Health Institutes concerning the issuance of new licenses and the transfer of ownership.

The decision to retain the draft amendment aims to allow for further study and coordination among relevant authorities before final approval and implementation.
