Crown Prince hosts as Bayan Palace David Solomon, Ms. Kaja Kallas, Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi

- His Highness the Crown Prince received the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi, along with the Kuwaiti medical team that recently achieved a new Guinness World Record by performing the world’s longest remote robotic surgery—covering a distance of 12,000 kilometers.
His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace this morning the Chief Executive Officer of Goldman Sachs, David Solomon, and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of their visit to Kuwait.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Thamer Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the Managing Director of the General Investment Authority, Sheikh Saud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah.
His Highness also received the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission, Ms. Kaja Kallas, and her accompanying delegation, who are participating in the high-level forum on security and regional cooperation between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union, as well as the 29th GCC-EU Joint Ministerial Council meeting hosted by Kuwait.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of the Crown Prince’s Diwan, the Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Ambassador Sadiq Ma’arafi, and several senior officials.
In another engagement, His Highness the Crown Prince received the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Al-Awadhi, along with the Kuwaiti medical team that recently achieved a new Guinness World Record by performing the world’s longest remote robotic surgery—covering a distance of 12,000 kilometers.
The pioneering team included Dr. Sulaiman Al-Muzaidi, Dr. Muhannad Al-Haddad, and Dr. Hamoud Al-Rashidi. His Highness praised this distinguished achievement, describing it as a testament to the high competence and innovation of Kuwait’s national medical professionals.
He emphasized that such accomplishments reinforce Kuwait’s standing in global medical excellence and wished the team continued success under the wise leadership of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince sent a cable of congratulations to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of Egypt’s October War victories. He commended the strong and historic ties between Kuwait and Egypt, wishing President El-Sisi good health and continued prosperity for the Egyptian people.
