PAAET announces schedule for English proficiency test
The Admission and Registration Deanship at the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training has announced the schedule for the English language proficiency test for students accepted into the authority’s colleges for the second semester of 2023-2024.
The test will be conducted according to the original plan, as outlined in the vacancies and scholarships plan. The testing period is set from February 4 to 6 at the College of Business Studies headquarters, reports Al-Jarida daily.
According to a statement, eligible students for the test are those accepted into the faculties of Basic Education, Health Sciences, Business Studies, and Technological Studies.
The test location for male students will be in the boys’ building, while female students will take the test in the girls’ building.
For those accepted into the College of Nursing, the English language placement test is scheduled for next Sunday, February 4, at the college’s headquarters in Shuwaikh, from eight in the morning until two in the afternoon.
In related news, PAAET sources said admission results will be revealed gradually for applicants seeking internal or external transfers across various colleges of the authority. The distribution of applicants’ preferences will be based on the highest percentage of requests in the chosen specialization, following the electronic sorting system.
