The Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah Diplomatic Institute signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ooredoo Kuwait on Monday to enhance strategic cooperation between the public and private sectors. The partnership aims to support Kuwait Vision 2035 and the national plan for building a sustainable, innovation-driven economy through institutional partnerships.
Ambassador Nasser Subaih Al-Subaih, Assistant Foreign Minister for the Institute, emphasized that the collaboration reflects a firm belief in the essential role of public-private cooperation in advancing development, improving government performance, and providing high-quality, efficient, and advanced training services. He noted that this approach aligns with Article 20 of the Kuwaiti Constitution, which underscores the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to promote economic growth, increase production, and enhance societal prosperity.
Al-Subaih explained that the MoU with Ooredoo will leverage the company’s expertise in communications, artificial intelligence, and media services, enhancing the digital transformation of the Institute’s activities and enabling it to keep pace with modern technological advancements.
Ooredoo Kuwait CEO Abdulaziz Yaqoub Al-Babtain affirmed the company’s commitment to supporting national initiatives through its experience in communications and digital services. He highlighted previous successes, including collaborations with the Ministry of Information on digital media platforms such as the “51” platform, which showcased Kuwaiti heritage and strengthened digital media presence.
Al-Babtain noted that the agreement will pave the way for joint initiatives and projects to strengthen Kuwait’s regional and global position. The collaboration will involve organizing events and conferences, providing integrated communication and technical solutions, and developing media and training content. These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency of national cadres and elevate Kuwait’s profile as a leading diplomatic hub in the region.
