Kuwait sees KD 65 million in real estate deals across 107 contracts

Private real estate dominated the market during the week of September 14–18, with 73 contracts traded, totaling KD 30 million.

  • The Capital Governorate recorded nine private real estate contracts and two investment contracts. Hawalli Governorate saw 19 private properties and ten investment properties traded, while Farwaniya witnessed ten private contracts, two investment contracts, and five warehouse contracts.

As many as 107 real estate contracts worth KD 65 million were traded in one week, according to the statistics from the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice, Al Anba newspaper reported.

According to data published on the ministry’s website for the week of September 14–18, private real estate led the activity with 73 contracts valued at KD 30 million.

It added that investment real estate contracts came in second place, with 23 properties valued at KD 21.2 million. Commercial real estate recorded five contracts worth KD 4.3 million, while five warehouse contracts were traded for KD 8.8 million. One property on the coastal strip was valued at KD 675,000, and craft real estate saw no trading during the same week.

Regarding geographical distribution, the statistics showed that the Capital Governorate recorded nine private real estate contracts and two investment contracts. Hawalli Governorate saw 19 private properties and ten investment properties traded, while Farwaniya Governorate witnessed ten private contracts, two investment contracts, and five warehouse contracts.

Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate registered eight private contracts and one coastal strip property. In Ahmadi, 18 private properties, nine investment contracts, and five commercial contracts were traded, while Jahra Governorate recorded nine private real estate contracts.
