Kuwait moves to establish company for Al-Zour North power plant (Phases II and III)
The project, which saw its commitment agreement signed on August 10 between PAPP and the winning investor, will add 2,700 megawatts of electricity and 120 million imperial gallons of water per day to Kuwait’s grid.

The Public Authority for Partnership Projects (PAPP) has submitted a formal request to the Ministry of Commerce to establish a project company for the Al-Zour North Power Plant Project (Phases II and III).
Informed sources confirmed that the authority filed the request after completing all incorporation requirements set by the Ministry.
Once the company is formally established, the Al-Rai daily said, the next step will be signing financing agreements with international banks, a process expected to be finalized before the end of this year.
