Kuwait condemns Israeli Prime Minister’s comments on displacement of Palestinians

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community and the Security Council to end the genocide, collective punishment, starvation, and settlement expansion carried out by the occupation forces in occupied Palestine.

Kuwait has condemned Israeli Prime Minister’s remarks on the displacement of Palestinians, calling them a blatant violation of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and a clear breach of international and humanitarian law, Al Anba newspaper reported.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that the State of Kuwait, while reaffirming its rejection of any attempts to displace the brotherly Palestinian people, calls on the international community and the Security Council to act to end the genocide and collective punishment to which the Palestinian people are subjected, and to immediately stop the policy of starvation and settlement expansion practiced by the occupation forces in occupied Palestine.

It also stressed that a comprehensive and just peace in the region cannot be achieved without ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and establishing an independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
