Egyptian construction worker falls to his death from ninth floor

An unidentified Egyptian construction worker, who is believed to be in his forties, fell to his death from the ninth floor of a building under construction in Bneid Al-Gar.

Following the unfortunate incident, Emergency Medical Services personnel rushed to the site but the victim had already succumbed to his injuries. The corpse of the victim has been handed over to Forensics.

The contractor has been summoned for questioning. Meanwhile, the security authorities are investigating the cause of the fall.
