Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Vietnam

The Embassy of Vietnam in Kuwait is showcasing the exquisite collection of Southeast Asian country’s rich cultural tapestry where leading artists will highlight their artworks to the visitors.
The visitors at the one-day event will get a chance to speak to talented Vietnamese artists.

Vietnamese art often depicts everyday life, landscapes, and historical events. The exclusive event offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse artistic expressions of Vietnam while engaging directly with the artists themselves.

The exhibition will also highlight the skillful works of Ngo Duc Hoang, who was born in 1974 in Ha Noi, Vietnam. As a graduate of the Vietnam State Film University – Fine Arts Department in 1999, he possessed a collection that spanned over two decades, ranging from works used in poster exhibitions and group exhibitions, to exhibitions of Hoang’s solo acrylic and oil paintings that made the best use of Vietnamese traditional methods and ingredients.

The most known works of the talented artist include a set of creations on do paper, embracing nostalgic elements, using flowers and decorations to give a new perspective on the beauty of human, community and nature.

Do paper (also called “mulberry paper”) is important in the history of Vietnamese art – the paper is made from the tree that is mostly found in northern provinces of the Southeast Asian country, and its durability made it useful to draw and store folk arts of the Dong Ho village in Bac Ninh province.

The much-awaited exhibition will be held at Jabriya – Block 10- Street 19- Villa 96 on January 29, 2024. Vietnam is known for its beaches, rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities.

Visitors are invited to attend the event for an unforgettable art exhibition showcasing the soul of Vietnam.
