Sheikh Fahd appoints new senior official to man Kuwait Customs
Move aims to strengthen and modernize customs operations

Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahd Al-Youssef, has issued a decision to appoint new senior official in the General Customs Department to, what the ministry said, enhance and advance customs operations.
According to a press statement, the decision includes the appointment of Yousef Khaled Al-Nuwaif as Director-General of the General Administration of Customs with the rank of Undersecretary, reports Al-Rai daily.
Additionally, Saleh Mohammed Al-Omar has been named Deputy Director-General for Customs Investigation Affairs, and Fatima Hamza Al-Qallaf has been appointed Deputy Director General for Administrative and Financial Affairs, both with the rank of Assistant Undersecretary.
The administration emphasized that these appointments reflect the political leadership’s commitment to strengthening and developing customs work in line with the needs of the next phase, while also empowering national cadres to assume positions of responsibility.
