Municipality issues warnings, fines for building violations in Bneid Al-Qar

The Kuwait Municipality has intensified inspection campaigns in the Bneid Al-Qar, issuing 18 warnings to properties over building violations and punished 9 property owners for failing to address the violations after they had been issued notices earlier.

The Municipality’s Public Relations Department confirmed that inspection teams continue to operate on a scheduled basis across all six governorates, monitoring construction and building activities to ensure compliance with building regulations covering private housing, industrial, commercial, agricultural, investment, and craft sectors.

The Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department in the Capital Governorate carried out the latest field campaign Thursday morning, focusing on violations in investment housing. Of the 18 properties warned, 9 owners responded by removing the violations, while 9 others were fined for non-compliance.

The Municipality reaffirmed its commitment to ongoing campaigns to curb violations, enforce regulations, and safeguard urban planning standards.
