MOH trains staff to improve hospital laundry services

The Hotel Services Department at the Ministry of Health, under the supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Services Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Tasha, organized a specialized training course on laundry contract management.

The purpose of the program, overseen by the Laundry Supervision Department, is to equip staff with the skills needed to effectively monitor and implement contracts, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and a safe environment for inpatients.

Around 30 employees from various hospitals participated in the course, which concluded with a ceremony honoring the trainees, reports Al-Rai daily.

In his remarks, Eng. Al-Tasha highlighted the importance of hotel services as a key element of patient care, noting that staff training directly improves hospital environments and enhances patient and family satisfaction.

This initiative reflects the Ministry’s ongoing strategy to integrate operational quality with compassionate care, underscoring its commitment to comprehensive healthcare that includes both medical treatment and patient comfort.
