His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah received today at Bayan Palace Wang Jian, head of the delegation from the state-owned China Baowu Steel Group, accompanied by officials of the group.
The meeting also included senior representatives from the China State Construction Communications Corporation Limited, affiliated with the Chinese Ministry of Transport, responsible for completing the Mubarak Al-Kabeer Port project.
During the meeting, the Chinese delegation gave a visual presentation highlighting the company’s origins, global role in providing goods and services, and experience in constructing major projects, reports Al-Rai daily.
As the world’s largest steel manufacturer, China Baowu Steel Group also shared key details of its international projects and capabilities.
His Highness emphasized the importance of advancing strategic bilateral relations with China, promoting joint cooperation to localize industry, transfer Chinese technology, and leverage China’s expertise in line with the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
