Mother, daughter injured in two-vehicle collision

A collision on the Sixth Ring Road the day before yesterday involving a vehicle and a fuel tanker, resulted in injuries to a mother and her daughter. Their condition is reported as unstable. The tanker driver fled the accident scene, raising speculations that the escape may be linked to the lack of a proper license permitting the handling of hazardous materials.

Authorities have issued instructions for the prompt arrest of the expatriate driver for further investigation, reports Al-Anba daily.

The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) in a statement said the incident was handled by firemen from the Independence Center Fire Brigade.
