Microsoft Teams app introduces real-time sensitive data alerts

Microsoft has introduced a new Sensitive Content Detection feature in its Teams app to stop users from accidentally sharing confidential information during screen sharing sessions.
The system scans the shared screen in real time for data such as credit card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers, passport information, and taxpayer IDs, according to news agencies.
If detected, it immediately alerts both the sharer and the meeting organizer, prompting the sharer to stop screen sharing.
The feature is available on Teams for web, mobile, and desktop, but requires the paid Teams Premium plan and can be activated under “Advanced Protection” in meeting settings.
