Minister reviews efforts to enhance the country’s air transport system

Minister of Defense Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah paid a visit to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation today morning, to review efforts to enhance the country’s air transport system.

He was received by Sheikh Hamoud Mubarak Al-Hamoud, the Director-General of Civil Aviation.

The minister received a detailed presentation outlining current and upcoming projects, including strategic plans to modernize airport infrastructure and advance technical and navigational services in alignment with top global aviation standards, reports Al-Rai daily.

During the visit, the Defense Minister congratulated the Civil Aviation President on the recent issuance of the Amiri Decree enacting the new Civil Aviation Authority Law.

The Director-General of Civil Aviation expressed appreciation for the Minister’s visit and support, stressing that such backing is essential for achieving Kuwait’s long-term goals in aviation development and international competitiveness.
